delphic... HA HA HA SO!!! River is a psychic! She's in your head, reading your thoughts. She will also occasionally babble about what she finds there too, depending on what she sees and what mood she's in.

What might she find there? GUILT and perhaps kryponite for women and kids, which is what river is. Dante never says what he means, and frequently uses "who knows" when he wants to be vague.
Would your character notice? yes, most likely.

Is it cool for River to read your character's mind? idk maybe
Is it cool for her to talk about it? yes
What might she find there? VERY SERIOUSNESS and BEING A SAILOR SOLDIER and DEATH AND DESTRUCTION and maybe kafka. Hotaru is very serious, lonely and shy. she likes books and poetry, and spends a lot of her time absorbing herself in her hobbies. SHE HAS A WONDERFUL NEW FAMILY but some god-awful memories that can probably be dug up. She also has kind of pseudo-dual personalities? i dive more into it here (http://oncesilence.livejournal.com/660.html).

What might she find there? IDK THE TRUTH!! the drive to find the truth. Very pure, simple intentions. Souji is very direct in what he does to what he says. He has no ulterior motives and is very simple. His mindset is the same.
Would your character notice? Depends on the situation but probably not.

What might she find there? DEATH. the will to live, the happiness of living and loving people. he's pretty content for BEING DEATH IDEK.
