crying yes I guess in the way that I realized I have not really worded at length about Judy's feelings in Flynn in a while and a lot of stuff has built up WHOOPS
So most recently she's kind of been realizing that Yuri and Flynn are really sort of ... complementary? Like they are each great on their own but then it's like Voltron and if you hook them up it gets waaaaaay better. Like Yuri's there for when Flynn is being all dumb with the HONORRR thing and Flynn is there when Yuri can't hold any feels. They kinda balance each other out and then Judith doesn't have to deal with things all by herself when shit happens with one of them!
But yeah in general she loves Flynn a lot!! He is so cute and gentlemanly and he takes care of her when she needs it which she appreciates a lot and is not really used to! Aah Flynn is so great etc. But then ... she also worries about him. She worries about Yuri a fair amount too because the people she cares about are the one last thing she gives any fucks about, anything else involving death or giant devourers or people doing evil things in Camp is pretty much a passing issue. She takes a 'whatever what's gonna happen is gonna happen unless a situation presents itself in which you can clearly do something that's going to help it what are you gonna do' to all that's a different subject.
So Judith, for ... fairly obvious reasons, has a lot of misgivings about governments and armies and people as a whole. She takes a kind of cynical approach to life in the way that keeps her from ever being that disappointed with something, because hey, what did you expect? But then, of course, Yuri and Flynn have this kind of ... weird thing going on. Yuri's told her that Flynn dying fucked him up so much because he's counting on him to fix everything and that is ... not a viable way of looking at things! Especially when he was the one who lead the whole Nah People Deserve a Second Chance brigade against Duke so ... what does that even say??
Of course she does believe that Flynn is entirely capable of changing a lot of things for the better. Capable is the key word here, because that's where she worries about him. As she said over vacation she has entire faith in Flynn-- of his will to change things, of his abilities and reasons and all that. But she also recognizes that Flynn is still very much the optimist in the way he views the world. And she knows that he isn't sheltered and knows the way things work but that doubt in her still lingers that once they go back for real, and things start to get down to it that eventually Flynn will get broken the same way she was by the unending unfairness that life throws in your face again and again and again. So there's a kind of frustration in the whole 'I want to stop that from happening but how the fuck can I actually do anything about it' which is new for her because see: no fucks given about 99% of life.
wow this got long
Anyway Flynn you also have to take her out on a date now with Yuri because he was dumb have fun with that.
